My animation place

I borrowed a camcorder, 2 lights & a green cloth from school
Setting like above image.

Camcoder problem:

Eventhough, i borrowed a camcorder, My laptop didn't have a jack for firewire.
Solve:
My next action was using a DSLR camera.
Next problem was that i could not use onion skin.
And using stop promotion Tri Version has a huge watermark in the movie.
Solve.
Next action, using 2/3 space and mask others

Light :

Problem:
It was hard to find out a right light (I tried to find out without shadow for easy to edit)
I turned off a whole light only using light sources.
However, it was something wrong. I could not find out the reason.
Second day, i found out i set my table under "Exit" , the "Exit" light made a destruction.
I covered it,  
The light was absolutely hot. 


Material :
Problem:
I made a my main character with Plastic(Recycle), but i felt the character looks dead.

Solve:
Using a cray.

Problem:
unfortnately, i couldn't find a cray.

Solve:
using a crayola. The direction said that it took 1~2 days to make a dry.
So i thought it was enough time to make an animation

Problem:
Uhmm, the light was so hot, the material dried only 2~3mins.

Solve:
Umm... kept going. 


Extra problem:
The light sources was so hot, my tripod  for Camera was melting.
It couldn't stand properly.

Solve :
Umm. kept going..


Edit problem

It was harder to delete green cloth than i expected, umm i made a mask each character in each movement.
It took 2 days only for 20seconds movie for turtle.

Solve:
I found that i can make many layers to give different data for color range effect

For example, i made 4 layer for turtle, head, body, body inside(because green dot), and legs.
It was easier than masking.

But, for small fishes need to use masks and many layers using effects(colour range)

Color with my animation process

"G" character is from my Logo
My main character , G & Dolphin are blue.
So, i could not use blue screen(cloth) background, I chose background in blue.
I had to think the background was going to blue in the final movie.
So, i have to find out what color i can use, and the final scene how to look like.
Red color would be good for both taking animation and editing animation.
I don't want to use too much red under the sea.
So, it was hard to find out what color would be good for my animation.
